Our books and magazines are firmly historical, but that doesn't mean we don't look to the future. In fact, we've been toying with ideas for new magazines for quite a while now. The problem is always picking a topic. Obviously, we want to launch a new magazine that will be of interest to as many readers as possible. To that end, we have designed a short and simple survey. We'd be very grateful if you could fill it out and help us design our (potential) new magazine. In return, we're raffling off five one-year paper subscriptions and ten one-year digital subscriptions for the magazine of your choice (Ancient Warfare, Medieval Warfare or Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy). All you have to do is complete the survey and leave us your e-mail address (don't worry, we won't use it for anything). This survey is open to anyone who wants to participate, so please tell all of your friends! The more feedback we can get, the better. You can send in your answers until June 15th. Starting in October, Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy magazine will be available through a number of larger retailers in the United States and Canada. While WSS was already offered in North America through various specialty stores, a deal with a larger distributor will see the magazine appearing in chains such as Barnes & Noble, Chapters and Books-A-Million starting from issue 56.
Starting on Wednesday, September 21st, German Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy fans will have much better access to their favorite magazine. On that date, WSS will start appearing in magazine and bookstores in larger train stations and some airports throughout Germany. If you're passing through, be sure to stop by and have a look! Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy issue 56 is available at WH Smiths and all good newsagents. From this issue (number 56), we'll soon be available in bookstores in the US and Canada. So look out for us in Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million and Chapters (in Canada).
On Friday July 1st, the latest edition of Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy will be out in all good newsagents and stores. UK subscribers should have received their copies by now, with the rest of the world following shortly. A detailed contents of this issue is available here.
The relaunch issue of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy, issue 54, is due to hit the newsstands this Friday. From that day on, there should be a new copy of WS&S in stores at the beginning of every odd month. Go on, have a look!
